Our objective is to unite international experts to disseminate Chinese medicine research through international, interdisciplinary and inter-
institutional collaborations for the modernization and internationalization of Chinese medicine. We endeavour to

²        advocate the pursuit of evidence-based approach to clinical and laboratory research in Chinese medicine among academic and research institutions worldwide; 

²        publish a peer-reviewed journal of Chinese medicine in English supported by an international Editorial Board for the purpose of disseminating research information; 

²        promote good clinical practices in Chinese medical diagnosis and treatment, and sound laboratory practices in Chinese medicinal quality assurance and experimentation related to drug safety and effectiveness; 

²        foster the modernization of management in Chinese medicine; 

²        establish ties among experts in Chinese medicine through international conferences and modern communication technologies.
